His talent quickly flourished, leading him to Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduation, Abate played lead alto saxophone with the legendary Ray Charles Orchestra, an experience he cherishes deeply. With over 16 albums to his name, Abate's discography is a testament to his versatility, spanning genres from bebop to hard bop.
