As a pianist and composer, she emerged as a leading artist in the Athens electronic music scene of the 1980s, leaving an indelible mark on subsequent generations of Greek electronic musicians. Platonos' work is celebrated for its cutting-edge electronic experimentation and her distinctive, impressionistic poetry and lyrics, which she delivers in her native Greek. Her discography spans over a dozen albums, each offering a unique blend of electronic art music that continues to inspire and captivate audiences. Beyond her musical contributions, Platonos has also made a name for herself as a visual artist, adding another layer to her creative repertoire. Her notable works include compositions for the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation's children's musical show Lilipoupoli, further cementing her status as a versatile and influential artist.
