An-Lun Huang, born in 1949 in China, is a celebrated Chinese-Canadian composer whose musical journey began at the tender age of five when he started playing the piano. His early passion for composition led him to study at the prestigious Central Conservatory in Beijing. With over 40 symphonic works to his name, Huang's compositions have garnered numerous awards and have been widely performed and enthusiastically received. His music, often inspired by his cultural heritage, reflects a unique blend of traditional and contemporary influences. Notable works include his Piano Concerto in G Minor, Op. 25b, and the Saibei Suite No. 2, composed in 1975.
