Marco Tamburini, born in Cesena, Italy, in 1959, was a virtuoso jazz trumpet player and composer whose music left an indelible mark on the international jazz scene. After studying under the esteemed Elio Comandini and graduating from the Conservatorio Giovanni Battista Martini in Bologna, Tamburini began his professional career in 1984.
